LDN Home

The excellent 3rd floor flat of questionably low rent that Jethro and Tyson live in for Teen!VerseLDN due to Jethro’s employment with a mysterious sponsor, under the false identities: Anthony Hawthorn & Reuben Hawthorn.

Their entire apartment is covered in plants. There have been multiple times where there has been more house plants than food in their apartment.

Whilst the kitchen does have a dishwasher, microwave, & separate stove and oven, they have to walk down to the basement to do their laundry. The bathroom has a shower and bathtub.

Tyson has a wardrobe and desk for school work in his room, whilst Jethro has a smaller wardrobe and a dresser with his work haphazardly piled on top.

Used in: Orphan AU 4, MD AU, DC SU, & MCU SU

In MCU4, Jethro’s bedroom is instead set up as a playroom/bedroom for Levi Jr. Through all MCU SU’s there are cat trees, beds, and scratching posts around the apartment.

In MD AU, Jethro’s bedroom is instead the pet room. The side of the room that boarders Tyson’s bedroom has the terrarium for Inej (Corn Snake), whilst the side that boarders the living room has the marine fish tank. The rest of the room contains the den, sandbox, and running space for Tyson’s chinchillas (Kuni & Zelig).

The tank is a peaceful reef aquarium: soft corals, seahorses, starfish, feeder shrimp, feather duster sand worm, and various fish (Mandarin Dragonet, Catalina Goby, Helfrichi Firefish, Royal Gramma, & Banded Pipefish).

    Apartment

Though small and difficult to navigate around, Tyson is very fond of his apartment.
In part, because it was a gift from the Moriarty Mirrors; Sunshine, specifically. Once a safe house for members of the web, Tyson can say with certainty that his apartment is well protected and full of surveillance should anyone manage to set inside.
More generally, Tyson likes having an apartment that’s a comfortable distance from the London underground, close enough to most things he needs, and quiet enough that Tyson can take his dogs out for walks without his anxiety getting too bad.
If he needed to, Tyson is - as ever - ready to uproot his life and leave everything behind. However, he is glad that Sebastian hasn’t forced him to move yet, even though he definitely knows where Tyson lives. For the time being, Tyson gets to have this one little piece of permanence.

    Army!Verse Home

Tyson’s Army!Verse home is […] large open spaces that flow from one to another, more distance from the city and full of natural light. It’s a home that suits Tyson when he’s recovering (Veteran AU/Chicago!Verse), where he needs more space (HDM AU), or where Sebastian needs Tyson under his thumb (Kitten!Verse). This is also the house that main!verse Tyson owned before he abandoned the army.

    2. Kitchen + Patio
The patio runs down the length of the house then along the bottom too. In every verse it appears in, this patio is covered in cacti and slopes downwards very gradually to meet the lower ground of the back garden: slowly enough to avoid actively noticing it, yet steep enough to be an issue in winter.
    3. Closet
This room is primarily used as a bedroom/playroom for Tyson’s pets.
    4. Closed living-room
In Kitten!Verse, this is largely Sebastian’s space for when he wants privacy.
    5. Open living-room
    6. Meditation room
In Kitten!Verse, this is largely where Tyson can be found; nestled amongst the blankets.

    Homes

Depending on his verse, Tyson’s living situation and home may change to suit his needs in that universe.
His usual London apartment suits his typically needs in that there is - just - enough space and it’s enclosed enough that Tyson feels safe. It’s a space where Tyson knows every inch and can see the majority of the apartment from the main room. It’s comfortable and cozy, protected by the Moriarty Mirrors, and in a city he loves. It’s easy to call home for any iterations of Tyson at any point in his timeline.
Tyson’s Army!Verse home is a very different story. It’s large open spaces that flow from one to another, more distance from the city and full of natural light.
The homes away from home are less personal, more suited to verses where Tyson is bouncing between different places constantly - UA India/Earth!Verse - but there are niches that certain ones fulfil:
    • Blue Ridges Mountains Home is different enough from Army!Verse home to separate Cat!Verse Tyson from The Colonel, whilst still being open enough to prevent him from feeling trapped.
    • Pontic Mountains Home is perfect for Redemption!Verse, where Tyson needs room for three dogs (Lily, Bobby, & Jack), a cat (Felix), his nephew (James), and James’ nanny (Charlie).
Tyson rarely wants to return to living in the Delaney family manor, but for Teacher!Verse, it was the best option for him.
