Birds

Tyson is rather fond of birds, though he is definitely biased towards the tiny palm-sized garden birds. Draco - who we will be getting to eventually, never fear - is essentially a scaly, colour changing tiny bird.
Every year, Tyson got to change which chores he was given in addition to his curricular activities and, without fail, one of his picks would always be filling up the various bird feeders around the garden area of the family grounds.
After dogs, Tyson’s favourite animal is the speckled hummingbird. Though there is a mathematical curiosity in the way hummingbird’s wings works, Tyson is more interested in their bright pigmentation; and how it affects his Synesthesia. He also has a soft spot in his heart for London’s pigeons.
Every summer holiday, Tyson and Jethro were send up to their Uncle Richard in Edinburgh whilst their father went on holiday to Spain. Uncle Richard often took them out on camping trips to go hunting. During those trips, Tyson remembers his uncle pointing out various birds hidden in the canopy or teaching them to identify them by their song. Tyson’s first successful kill during those hunting trips was a Pheasant.
