Redemption!Verse

In this sub-verse, Jethro and Rosie died in a car crash, which meant Tyson ended up taking custody of his nephew James, as his legal guardian. Needing more space, Tyson now lives in the London suburbs in a house that conveniently shares the same layout as the pontic mountains home.
In this verses, Tyson still has Lily, Bobby, Jack, & Draco. However, James’ nanny Charlie Hotchner has also moved in with them to help take care of James. Though Tyson still has his motorbike in this verse, he needed more room and has taken to driving a Hyundai Santa Fe instead.
Additionally, they’ve adopted a male Ragdoll cat called Felix as a companion for James. Felix is docile and very affectionate. He’s done a lot to help James come out of his shell after his parent’s death. As a promise to show that he’ll always come back, Tyson keeps the crow plush James gave him on him at all times.
Tyson still works for the Moriarty Mirrors, but his outlook has changed. He feels far more guilt than he used to about the work and has returned to taking on less risky work. He enjoys the murder as much as he does in corruption!verse, but now it’s a rare treat between his other jobs instead. James does not know what Tyson does for a living.
It’s a slow process, but Tyson is softening. He’s teaching James how to skateboard with him when he takes the dogs out on their walks. For the sake of James’ health, he’s cutting down how much he smokes; though on an evening, he is drinking far more.
Tyson is more friendly here than in corruption!verse. Especially when James is with him. He is very protective of his nephew, but Tyson is also more willing to talk to people for James’ sake. Everything he does in this verse is either for the Moriarty Mirrors or those in his care: James and their pets.
As much as Tyson could love to wear himself ragged chasing down an enemy, Rosie and Jethro’s deaths were tragic accidents and nothing more. Not the slightest hint of foul play. The only comfort Tyson can find from it is that James wasn’t in the car at the time.
Though James doesn’t know what his uncle does for a living, his suspicions about him being a secret agent persist and he has finally pieced together that his nanny is also a part of the world Tyson is desperately trying to shelter him from.
For her part, Charlie isn’t happy to be so close to the Moriarty Mirrors again, but she remains as free as one can be from the web and she doesn’t regret agreeing to stay with James for a single second. If anything happens to Tyson, Charlie will care for James like her own.
And then find a way to resurrect Tyson to yell at him for abandoning James, naturally.
