The First Monastery: Part Three

Summery: Tyson is healed enough that Sebastian says they can leave. They set off in the middle of the night.
Part One.
Part Two.
A few more days passed before Tyson's fever finally broke and he would walk under his own strength. He walked out into the main courtyard around noon, when the air was cooler, and laid down bellow the tree with his finger tips resting on the water surface, barely breaking the surface tension. Sebastian walked over to him from one of the building on the eastern side of the Monastery.
"Do you feel well enough to go on?" He asked, handing him his bag as though it had already been decided.
Tyson sighed. "Yeah, I guess."
Sebastian nodded, "Good." He said sharply. "Be ready to leave at one am." He turned on his heels leaving Tyson bellow the tree.

Tyson for his part groaned. Going down a mountain side in near pitch black, what on earth could go wrong? You know, aside from everything. To prepare Tyson took his jacket out of his bag and pulled it on, leaving it unzipped. He assumed that if he left his shirt off and his jacket unzipped is ribs would heal better, the monk had told him to let as much air get to them as possible through the bandages. He remained laying under the tree for a good four hours before Sebastian returned for him. In that time, he focused on his breathing. Attempting to use the meditation technique whilst lying down, it limited the effectiveness but the grass was soft and he didn't want to have to pull himself upright.

When they left the monastery they did so with light from an oil lamp, Sebastian had been unable to find a torch in the nearby village, it would be another sixty miles before they got a torch, after the original torch was damaged in the river they lost the map in.
